Homework #3 asks students to post their rough drafts on Black Board Learn (or Google Drive or whatever forum space your class uses) so that other people in the class can give feedback on the project. As long as the drafts are posted on time, I give all the students in the group credit. The student instructions for submitting the rough draft are posted below.
HW#3 (worth one check)
GIVE YOUR PROJECT A TITLE
Whatever you choose to call your advertisement/announcement/campaign, please include the title in the thread of the BB Learn discussion post.
INCLUDE THE NAMES OF ALL OF YOUR GROUP MEMBERS
This should be obvious. Please don’t forget.
CHECK YOUR FORMAT
Make sure your project is digital, saveable and downloadable! For example, if your group created a handwritten cartoon, please scan it (at the library) into a PDF document. If you created a short video, please make sure it opens on a computer (and not just on your smartphone). If you used a Mac, please make sure your document will open on a computer with Windows.
EXPLAIN YOUR RHETORICAL CONTEXT AND APPEALS
When you upload your project to Black Board Learn, please include a brief description of your intentions. Describe your audience and purpose. Explain how you established your credibility. Explain your appeal(s) to logic and emotion.
ATTACH YOUR FILE TO THE DISCUSSION THREAD ON BB LEARN
The thread is labeled “RA Blog Project Rough Drafts.” I suggest pasting your project into the thread and attaching it as a file.
